We continue our adventures in finding the best computer accessories in the market, and today we took the time to focus on a staple-point of a computer setup — a wireless mouse. As seen in our best wireless keyboard under $50 guide, there are some very solid models out there in the wireless realm that are quite affordable. For those on a budget, we made sure to keep our range for mice at under $20 or less. Let’s see what we found today.
Picking the best wireless mouse under $20
- Your intended use – Work, internet surfing, or gaming? Although wireless mice are becoming more versatile as time goes on, there are a few gaming-specific models in here, while many will be just fine for other use such as working, school and leisure.
- Brand preference? We know the heavy-hitters in the computer accessory game such as Microsoft, Logitech, and HP — but what about some other unknown brands that are priced a bit lower than the major names but still bring great quality? You may have a preferred brand (which we totally understand), so this may steer you in a certain direction.
- Extra features – Some come with additional buttons on the side for some extra navigation, an ergonomic build, nano style, special scroll wheel, different color options, and more.

Microsoft 3500
This model by Microsoft is by far the best wireless mouse under $20. In fact, we’re currently using ours as we type this guide. It has an operating distance of up to 33 feet maximum and there are three buttons for easy navigation. We use ours if we hook up the laptop to the TV and it reaches perfectly fine in an average sized living or bedroom. Whether you are left or right-handed, it works great due to its solid technical features. It is comfortable to use and the optical detects movement pretty well. It has a resolution of up to 1000 dpi and is a great complement for your laptop or computer regardless of operating system. The battery running time is claimed to be up to 8 months by a single double A battery, but that all depends on how often you use it. It’s by far one of, if not the best wireless mouse for under $20. Grab it and don’t look back.

VicTsing MM057
Listed fourth, we have the VicTsing MM057, which is another budget mouse for your Mac or PC, particularly if you’ll foresee yourself needing it for gaming. This is another one of the best wireless mouse models under 20 bucks that you can opt for. Gamers always want that speedy and fast response from their tools. Thus, this is quite cheap for all the features it offers. You don’t need to splurge on things like a mouse to save some money for the more important gear, such as a new video card, more RAM or computer monitor. It is quite sensitive as well, making navigation very easy. For those who want to play without any troubleshooting, you will need this awesome mouse (although we’re still corded mouse users for gaming since we don’t want to risk cut-off or lag with our movements).
