We love Audio-Technica and we love earbuds. Their studio monitor headphones have won for best Audio-Technica headphone overall, but their in-ear headphones pack some serious punch. You’ve seen some around in the best bass Audio-Technica headphones, but here is a top list of the best Audio-Technica earbuds. The prices on their earbuds fall within a pretty big range, with some being as cheap as $20 and others all the way up to $600! So which Audio-Technica in-ear headphones are worth it? We find the best value, features and overall usability and pick our top earbuds.
When it comes to choosing your favorite Audio-Technica earbuds, you’re going to have to take a few factors into consideration: your budget, use, and features you need (such as their control center to navigate with your smart phone). Here’s our favorite based on research and buzz around the net:
We’ve seen these make an appearance in our best Audio-Technica bass article, and this has over 100+ positive reviews. These are noise-cancelling headphones and are offered in-ear or over-ear, but we really like to in-ear model because of their portability and comfort as compared to most earbuds in the market. They’re stated to reduce background noise by up to 90% (great for traveling or somewhere that may be noisy and you need to concentrate), an attached mianiature microphone attached to each earpiece which picks up ambient noise to reduce from going into your ears, as well as an electronics control box which has tech to create a wave to help with the ambient noise combatting. The ATH-ANC23 are top notch and are under $50. Keep reading as some earbuds of Audio-Technica do offer their ‘i’ series control button on the cable, which these do not.
These are a part of the QuietPoint line just like the previously explained earbuds, but are about $10 more expensive and have less reviews (are a little less known). These in-ear headphones are ‘ultra-compact’ and great for on-the-go. The ear pieces are interchangeable and allow you to choose between small, medium or large pieces of foam tips. The drivers are 13mm for a detailed sound and have up to 20dB noise reduction (up to 90%). The in-line microphone included allows you to hands-free talk. Lastly, as stated, the ATH-ANC33iS has Audio-Technica’s control system on the cable to navigate through your smart Apple devices., which is a huge plus in terms of convenience. You’re sacrificing $10 more dollars for the mic and controls, but a little less quality of tech.
This pair of Audio-Technica earbuds is one of their cheapest, but very bang-for-your-buck. You’re not getting any crazy noise cancellation tech, in-line mic or controls for your Apple device. What’s cool about these is their color options, including blue, orange, pink, white, black, and yellow. They have a comfortable design for long-wearing and include a cord wrap for travling. Nothing too fancy here, but you get the high-dependable technology for under $20, so it’s safe for traveling and everyday use. The ATH-CLR100BK earbuds are the best Audio-Technica in-ear headphones for the price if you aren’t expecting fancy stuff.
This pair of in-ear headphones is a bit more expensive, coming in the middle price point. We chose this pair because of the tech it has included. You get their crazy ‘Double Air Chamber System’ for bass output expansion, 13 mm drivers for a rich sound, 2 position post for better sound isolation and fit, as well as a decently long cable at 1.2 m (3.9 ft). It also comes with a carrying pouch and multiple sized ear tips for your choice. The ATH-CKS99 are great for music heads who like bass and a nicer earbud that will cost you just a bit more than others.
Here is another under $20 pair of earbuds by Audio-Technica. These are another solid pair of in-ear headphones for a very cheap price. If you want a higher tech, go with the above bass headphones or noise cancellations. However, this pair is just dependent on your budget. Color choices of blue, black, white or pink. They offer a great sound for the price (these aren’t knock offs), a tilted canal for natural sound isolation and includes a cord wrap with replaceable ear tips. Standard, but we thought we’d include the ATH-CKL200 because of their price and overall effectiveness. Pass by if you’re looking for earbuds with a bit more tech.
